I own the Penny Bow Sandal in rose gold, and the Emilia Pleated Knot Sandal in Gold. The only difference between styles is the heel height. The Penny is 3.5 inches, whereas the Emilia has a 2-inch heel.
Fun Fact: Each pair on Emilia sandals has 400 pleats, giving it their signature toothpick pleat. These heels are truly a one of a kind, special piece to add to your closet and elevate any outfit whether its paired with distressed jeans or a feminine dress.

Personally, I find the Penny Knot mule to run small and recommend to size up. I own a half size up in the Penny and I ordered a full size up in the Emilia to compare. I have a little room around my heel in the full size up , and my foot fits perfectly in the half size up , depending on your fit preference.

Each Penny Bow Sandal is handmade with care and made from pleated gold lamé. With regular wear, you can experience fraying if it has frequent friction. The shoe has a leather sole with a padded footbed.

Review: Loeffler Randall Matilde Boots
If you have extremely narrow calves like I do, you know that finding well-fitting knee-high boots is one of the biggest wardrobe challenges. Im constantly on the hunt for boots with a narrow-circumference, but unless you are ready to invest in an expensive pair, they can be extremely hard to come by.
Ive had my eye on these Loeffler Randall Matilde boots for years now. Only once have I found them in-store at a Barneys Co-op when I lived in Boston back in 2008-9, and I quickly pulled them on to see how they looked. I remember being surprised at how well they fit, but the experience happened so quickly that later, I began to second guess what I had seen. Fast forward a few years and Ive come to realize that a nice classic, versatile, knee-high black boot was an absolute essential that needed to be filled as soon as possible. As a result, I had been looking much harder at these Loeffler Randall Matilde boots, hoping this was the season I could find them at a great price .

Im completely thrilled, especially since I was able to get them for 65%+ off their regular price of $695. Heres a quick run down:
Comfort: Very comfortable! No rubbing in the inside of the boot around my ankles and no pressure points probably because they are almost flat . I sometimes put in a winter insole into my boots to help with warmth and comfort, but I dont feel like I need to do that with these boots.

Loeffler Randall Penny And Emilia Sizing Guide
I often receive fit questions on the Loeffler Randall Penny and Emilia style shoe. For reference, I am a 7.5/8 in US sizing and mostly a 38 in European sizing. After reading this guide, if you are still unsure, I recommend going to your local Saks, Neimans, or Nordstrom to try the shoes on. Once youâve determined your size, youâll be ready to pounce when you see a good deal on Shop My Finds.
While weâre talking fit, I will also comment on comfort. The Penny sandals are 3.5 inches/ 90mm while the Emilia are 2inches. I would say the Penny are good for evening events, dinners, and parties. The Emilia are shoes you can wear everyday out and about, at work etc. with a dress or jeans.
Loeffler Randall Penny Heel Sandal: Order the larger of your two standard shoe sizes. I am a 7.5/8 and wear an 8. I can fit in a 7.5 but prefer the 8. Please note that I think the Loeffler Randall Camellia fits exactly the same as the Penny.
Loeffler Randall Emilia Heel Sandals: I think these run a hair small and I frankly feel in between sizes. I fit in the size 8 but they feel slightly small. The 8.5 feels too big though. I ultimately landed on the 8 and did feel they stretched a little with wear to make them fit a bit better.

I absolutely adore the look of the Loeffler Randall signature pleated lamé knot heels theyre such a versatile pair of shoes and are the perfect little pop of shimmer to an outfit! I originally fell in love with the Emilia and Penny mule styles, but Loeffler Randall also offers two versions with an ankle strap one with a taller heel height called the Camellia as well as one with a shorter heel called the Dahlia.
I want to preface my post with this note: normally, when it comes to designer items I will save up to buy the real thing , but because of my hyperhidrosis I tend to RUIN shoes in a very short time so I just cant justify the cost of these adorable shoes! I wish so much that I could invest in a real pair I hear great things from friends that own them!
If youre lucky, you may be able to find a pair in your size on Poshmark, but I have personally been hard pressed to find this style available there in any size its been a customer favorite!
It would be remiss of me not to mention that Loeffler Randall recently started offering AfterPay which allows the customer the ability to pay for their desired product in 4 equal installments.
