Years ago, when I was totally loving Princess Diana, one of my favorite things to do was to pull out one of the books filled with Diana wearing all her gorgeous outfits. What can I say I enjoyed fashion and this probably explains my majoring in fashion merchandising in college.
Fast forward to now, and instead of Diana, we have her daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton . While Kate doesnt have the worldwide star power that Diana did , she is still definitely well-dressed.
At this point in life, I will not be recreating Kates looks for myself. But, in perusing her fashion, I noticed a pair of boots that kept popping up several times. 17 years?! This made me think. As someone with almost 20 years and probably at least the same amount of pounds on the duchess, Im not planning to invest in outfits she has worn. But boots hmmmm. An Introduction To Our Long Boots
Our brand was founded on the Long Tassel boot and has since grown to include many other beautiful and coveted designs. These boots are cut to elongate the calf and therefore give a leg lengthening look. They sculpt the leg by shaping the ankle and some are cut from a single piece of leather that allows for them to fit almost seamlessly. Many of our designs have discreet elastic panels that allow for differing calf widths but give the same slim fit look. Our long boots are practical, elegant and timeless with a strong equestrian aesthetic.

The Story Of Penelope Chilvers
Whilst living in Barcelona, English painter & designer Penelope Chilvers would enjoy horse riding in the hills above the city whilst on her lunch breaks. Inspired by the craftsmanship and culture of Spain, Penelope set out to create the perfect pair of leather riding boots, commissioning a small number of local Spanish artisans to craft a pair to her own measurements and design. These local artisans worked in family-owned factories, where their extensive knowledge of rare manufacturing techniques and passion for well-crafted footwear had been passed down from generation to generation. Penelope got the perfect pair of equestrian boots to wear whilst riding and the soon-to-be iconic Long Leather Tassel Boots were born.
After returning to London, Penelopes new riding boots were the envy of all her friends and all of them wanted a pair for themselves. This resulted in Penelope setting up her fledgling footwear business from the kitchen table, where the Long Leather Tassel boots became the very first style for her collection. Clients couldnt get enough of the equestrian style boots practical and comfortable enough for everyday wear but also fashionable enough to wear in both country and city dwellings.
