Gordons on the Pier is another restaurant that I didnt get the chance to try. Its an eatery thats right on the sea, and youll need to walk down a long pier to reach it. Gordons is primarily a seafood restaurant, although Im sure you could ask for a vegetarian meal .
And theres even more restaurants: Kimonos Oriental Cuisine , the Jerk Shack, the Mariner Seaside Bar & Grill, and Toscaninis Fine Italian Cuisine.

Sandals South Coast Overwater Bungalows
We think the best Sandals overwater bungalow is Sandals South Coast, we love this resort the most for several reasons. We love the privacy these bungalows have compared to the other properties. There are no nearby resorts, so there isnt any boat traffic coming by and checking out your rooms. It is one of the largest properties, set in a lush 500-acre nature preserve on a 2-mile stretch of white sandy beach.
The bungalows are located at the end of the property, accessible by a dock. It is only a few minutes walk from your room down the dock and on the white sandy beach before you are by the main resort restaurants and bars. Only overwater bungalow guests are allowed on the dock, so you wont have noisy hotel guests coming out to check out the rooms or take a picture on the dock.
If you have ever seen a picture of Sandals South Coast overwater bungalows it probably was a drone photo from above, which shows off how the bungalows shape a heart. Yes, it really does form a heart, it is great for pictures and the perfect place for a Jamaica honeymoon.
If you love a good swim-up bar, make sure to check out the 1,000 ft pool at South Seas Village it is the longest swim-up pool in the Western Hemisphere. It is the perfect spot for day drinking and making some new friends. If you are up for a day trip, consider checking out the nearby Pelican Bar. There is a catamaran day trip that you can book with Island Routes in the lobby.

Sandals has a number of Jamaican properties, but the only other one with overwater bungalow selections is Sandals South Coast, which also happens to be one of the newest of the brands resorts. The overwater villas here were built in the formation of a heart, which adds to their romance factor. They have the same overall layout as the above-mentioned property just a different locale.
Like other Sandals properties, this resort is also adults-only and all-inclusive including as many activities as you would like to do. Butler service is included. Just let them know if youd like your luggage unpacked or your clothes ironed upon arrival. Everything at this five-star resort is luxe. Even the minibar is stocked with premium booze. One of the only things not included are treatments at the signature Red Lane Spa but these are worth paying extra for.

Sandals, fresh from their success with over the water accommodation in Jamaica, quickly turned their sights to St Lucia, and here at the all-inclusive, adults only, Sandals Grande St. Lucian resort you have the same levels of luxury, sophistication and service.
It is very much an opulent romantic getaway, being adults only and attracting a well heeled clientele, but the atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and rarely stuffy.
Their overwater bungalows are a honeymoon favorite and with only nine of them they are generally booked out well in advance.
They come with glass floor panels that allow you to peer into the Caribbean just below your feet, tranquility soaking tubs, private patios and over water hammocks amongst other special features.
They also have a 24 hour personal butler service and the service throughout the resort is top notch efficient and professional but also relaxed and personable.

In Saint Lucia, there are three Sandals Resorts: Sandals Grande St Lucian in Gros-Islet, Sandals Halcyon Beach in Castries, and Sandals Regency La Toc in Castries. When you stay at one of these properties, you have access to all three for free!
There is a shuttle service between all three resorts, so you dont need to worry about transportation. We have stayed in all three overwater bungalow Sandals properties, and they all are almost identical inside as far as furnishing from the art on the wall to the chairs. You can expect the following features in all overwater bungalows at Sandals.
- Glass floor at the foot of the bed make sure to find the light switch in your room so you can watch the fish swim by at night
- Outdoor Tranquility soaking tub
- Outdoor table & chairs we suggest asking your butler to set up breakfast or lunch here

- Stocked mini-bar with high-end liquor Full bottles of Hendriks, Wine, etc. if you like specific alcohol make sure to ask your butler they will have it in your room.
