The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow
Rain in England is not an uncommon occurrence. However, today was the second day that the precipitation has been so intense and prolonged that excavation was temporarily cancelled. In the two weeks that we have been excavating so far, Tuesday was our first rained out session and this morning was our second. But it was still an educational day at Vindolanda, despite the inclement weather.
While there were many other interesting aspects of Dr. Greenes lecture, including the legality of marriage for soldiers in the Roman army and whether this aligned with social customs, and the impact of women and children on life in the fort, what I enjoyed seeing most was the incorporation of feminism in archaeological research. The idea that women were a part of the Roman army, and were fundamental to daily life for the army, is a relatively recent area of research in archaeology that took off as late as the 1990s. To me, this demonstrates the importance of feminism in academia and how much we can still learn about Roman civilization, depending on the types of questions we ask.
Excavating in England means learning to work through the weather whenever possible, while also recognizing when to acknowledge defeat and move indoors. Today we were lucky to do both and continue our education in archaeology both inside and outside of the classroom. All we have to do now is wait for the sun to come out, tomorrow. .

Author Daniel H. Pink described the company’s business model as “expressly built for purpose maximization”, whereby Toms is selling both shoes and its ideal. Toms’ consumer market are purchasing shoes and also making a purchase that transforms them into benefactors for the company. Another phrase used to try to describe the business model has been “caring capitalism”. Part of how Toms has developed this description is by incorporating the giving into its business model before it made a profit, making it as integral to the business model as its revenue generating aspects. Business tycoon and Virgin Group founder Richard Branson wrote of the company’s business model in his book Screw Business as Usual, “They look for communities that will benefit most from Toms based on their economic, health and education needs while taking into account local business so as not to create a correlating negative effect.” He also commented on Toms’ expansion into eyewear in order to help the nearly 300 million people who are visually impaired in developing nations.
Jordan Releases Through The Years
The first Air Jordan model to be released was in 1985, and each color and model had a corresponding release date. Before the internet, you would have to call or go into your local sneaker store to find out when a pair of Jumpmans would release. Still, thanks to technology, the latest Jordan can be easily accessible with a few clicks, and we strive to bring you the most current and up-to-date information.
Each year a new Jordan signature model releases. The previous model is the Air Jordan 34 and now we are onto the Air Jordan 35. While the technology and performance are some of the best with the given year, fans of Jordan Brand still go back to the beloved Jordan retro line.
Fast forward to 2015, Jordan Brand heard our cries and started to release what is called the Jordan Remastered series. Not only would our favorite retro shoes be made with higher quality materials, but the overall craftsmanship behind them would be upgraded. This is a definite win for collectors, and as of 2020, we are still receiving the remastered treatment.
Signed to Jordan Brand is are Zion Williamson, Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, Rui Hachimura, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Carmelo Anthony, and Russell Westbrook. While other athletes outside of the NBA are signed to the brand, they currently do not have a signature model nor a release date scheduled.

Amazon Video Likely Coming To The Apple Tv Tomorrow
Well, it looks like the Amazon Video app for the Apple TV will come out tomorrow. For a short time, both Amazon and Apple had pages up listing that the app would come out tomorrow. Now though both have been taken down.

A user on Reddit also noticed that if you set your date forward to December 6th, the Amazon App showed up in the Apple app store.
As said, my time/date is set to tomorrow. That is relevant because I saw the story at the top of the Today tab when I opened the App Store. That is how I obtained the link.

Xiii Remake Launches Tomorrow
French publisher Microids has announced that the remake of cult classic cel-shaded shooter, XIII, will be coming out tomorrow on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The title will be coming out on the Nintendo Switch sometime next year.
Originally released in 2003 by Ubisoft and based on a Belgian comic book series, XIII puts players in the shoes of an amnesiac hunted by government agents and blamed for the assassination of the President of the United States. Across 34 levels taking place in locales around the world such as the Grand Canyon and Mexico City, “XIII,” as the player character is known owing to a tattoo of the Roman numeral on his collarbone, works to prove his innocence and thwart the real conspirators from achieving their ultimate goal of taking over the United States.
The remake of XIII will be available November 10 for $49.99 USD. A Limited Edition version of the game is also available for $59.99 USD, and comes with a collector’s steelbook case with special sleeve, three art cards, a digital copy of the game’s original soundtrack, and the Golden Classic Weapon Skins Pack.
