The Ravi team were involved in the design and conceptual elements of the trainers, to ensure that they represented the spirit and values of the restaurant.
Ravis unique take on the adidas Original SUPERSTAR sneaker includes as custom liner with a hand-drawn map signifying the river which flows through north-eastern Pakistan.
The tab on the heel of the trainer is inscribed with the year Ravi opened 1978. On one heel the year and Ravis name is noted in English, and on the other heel it is noted in Arabic.
Six different recipes, hand-picked by the Ravi team, have been added and printed on the inside of the sneakers tongue, again one side in English and the other in Arabic.

What’s The Design Like

For the tie-up, the classic adidas Original Superstar trainers have been reworked to create the Superstar Ravi, in the white and green colours of the restaurant, itself a nod to the Pakistani flag.
With its distinctive shell toe design, the new shoe has the famous adidas trefoil stripes.
The restaurant’s name is embroidered on the heel tab along with the year the restaurant opened, 1978, written in English on one shoe and in Arabic on the other.
Six of Ravi’s best-selling dishes are listed, with prices, on the inside of the tongue, again in different languages for each foot.
Each pair of shoes is being sold in a special “takeaway” box that comes with a tag marked with the famous Ravi logo.
